Originally (and still) a prairie lad (born in Smokey Lake, Alberta), has been a Montrealer since August 1968. Formerly Dean of St. Sophie Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral (30 years!), he has taken on the no less challenging roles of Rector of St. Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Professor of Eastern Christian theology, partner in inter-Church and inter-faith dialogue and activist in the Ukrainian community. He is also an active (and happy!) father, grandfather, brother, uncle, great-uncle and godfather. |

Not only is she taking care of the Montreal Ukrainian Festival Sales team, but is actively working as V.P of Charter Sales for “Corporate Aircraft Charters”. She has helped pull together the festival in past years and has set aside a spot in her heart for this festival. And yes….she is Italian! Her endless energy makes her one of the major driving forces behind the Montreal Ukrainian Festival. |
Andrew Mazepa - V.P. Entertainment

The stage show would not be the same without him. He started off as our stage manager, but his talents could not be hidden, he knows how to pull a show together, artistically and logistically. Many know him as a member of the coveted Montreal band Burlaky, others know him as the film editor with endless talent, and you know him as the man who brings you an awesome show! |
Jenia Kulchycky - V.P Finance

Jenia is part of the Ukrainian community in Lachine, Quebec, where she attended Ukrainian School and learned how to play the bandura, a traditional Ukrainian stringed instrument. She was a member of an amateur drama group directed by Mrs. Nadia Olynyk that was invited to perform Lisova Pisnia in Toronto. She is the Cash Applications Administrator at Metso, a global engineering and technology corporation. |
